The Laundry shoot and Investments….?

I had a vision the other day of a laundry shoot and heard a cheeky voice say these words:  ”Look out beelooow!” and with a whoosh,  down came a hessian bag landing with a heavy thud at my feet, it spilled open at the top with gold coins.

For a couple of days I pondered this, thinking that perhaps this was the Lord’s way of saying He was sending provision for the dreams He has planted in my heart….and of course, I was happily rejoicing in that thought.

Then He brought the following passages from Matthew to mind:

The Story About Investment

14-18 “It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master’s money.

19-21 “After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them. The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

22-23 “The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master’s investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

24-25 “The servant given one thousand said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’

26-27 “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

28-30 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’

I am still rejoicing and indeed even overjoyed that God is in partnership with us, His people.  Also, I am deeply challenged to share what He has deposited into my hands to invest into His Kingdom work – so that His Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven.

As a family we love investing into the things of the Kingdom and that includes our local church, state and  national ministries, overseas missions, churches and ministries.

Having said that and without any endorsement from others there are a couple of places we ”deposit” to, because we recognise them as Kingdom building people/s and I would like to promote to you…so that you can consider these or others and share in the Joy of partnering also…

Firstly however, three reminders:

1) Give into your local church – no compromise, just do it!

2) Give into local state and national missions

3) Give into overseas missions and ministries

Get to know and align yourself with ministries that press your buttons and get you excited, interested and motivated. Stretch your tentpegs…do a search on the internet for missions, talk to your pastor about what missions/ministries are around…get involved and connected with them.  INVEST your talents into whatever is at hand to do…

So some of the people we support include:

Luke 6:38  (NIV) Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it
will be measured to you.”

Luke 12:48 (NLT)

48 But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

So – now we know, are without excuse and with much in our hands to invest into the Kingdom…we do it!

URLOVD immensely intimately!
